Climbing forest, mini-football centre, horseback riding and gliding are only a small part of the possibilities that visitors can choose from in the high forest. From fishing to the water staircase, our guests can be active in a variety of ways, test their courage, prove their football talent or harden themselves in the cold water of the Spalbach. If you like it less spectacular, you can feel better at home fishing on a nature trail or during a stay in the Fatima Chapel or in the church in Waldweiler.
The list of activities you can choose from can be seen here:
As the name suggests, the Climbing and Forest Experience in Kell am See has a lot to offer. Of course climbing features highly on many visitors’ wish lists, but the mini-soccer facility a couple of hundred metres away or the option of booking organised canoe tours on the Mosel or Saar promise pure enjoyment.
The old football cliché “It’s a funny old game” takes on a whole new meaning at the mini-soccer facility in Kell am See, because a very special kind of football is played here, which is enjoyed by more than just the professionals. It is played over 12 different lanes, and the aim of the game is to kick a small football over barriers at targets. This trendy new sport can best be described as a combination of goal-scoring practice and crazy golf.
Things are looking up in Kell am See with the Luftsportverein Hochwald e.V. air sports club, which also offers flights for guests. Glider flights can be booked from March to November, and trips with motor gliders and microlights are available all year round depending on the weather.
We wish you a fair wind and a calm sea… even on rowing boat or pedal boat trips out on the reservoir in Kell am See. Two rowing boats (each for up to 4 people) and five pedal boats are available for our guests to rent from the Hau’s am See cafe/restaurant by the lake.
